Cuba relaxed travel conditions

After a quiet time at sea, the Cuban authorities have also relaxed the travel conditions. Starting in July 2020, we will start and end charter in Cayo Largo. All travel restrictions are expected to be lifted from the end of August. Cuba took the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously right from the start, introduced a mandatory mask and started a lockdown shortly thereafter.

Cuba has survived the pandemic very well with around 2,400 cases of illness. For several weeks now, all provinces except Havana and Matanzas have been “corona-free”. The good health system and strict blockages of contacts have protected the country from a wave of diseases. Please contact us about the current situation if you are interested in chartering a sailing yacht in Cuba

Everyone is talking about Cuba

Cuba goes beyond all sailors’ dreams – a favourable, warm climate year-round, steady winds, unique natural beauty and open-minded hospitable people contribute to this as well as the reliable nautical infrastructure, which is receiving well-aimed promotion and extension by the Cuban government.

20 Marinas

To the sailor, the whole coast and off-lying islands are fully accessible with the only exception of one prohibited area in the vicinity of the infamous “Bay of Pigs”, or Playa Girón. Cuban national waters (12 nautical miles off the base line) may not be left and no persons may be taken aboard who are not on the officially approved crew list.

About twenty marinas and nautical centres all around Cuba gladly welcome yachts under all flags and offer all conceivable services.

Everyone is talking about Cuba – we are here. Our partner has been sailing here in Cuba since January 2002. The many years of experience in sailing and land are the basis for yacht charter, berth charter and the charter operation in Cienfuegos. As sailing areas, we offer the areas around Trinidad with the gardens of the Queen (Jardines de la Reina), Cayo Largo, the Isle of Juventud and the area around the Bay of Pigs (Bahia de cochinos – Playa Giron).
